WHAT IS A DOT REASONABLE
SUSPICION CLASS?
DOT Reasonable Suspicion Training is a two-hour course that teaches employees about their responsibilities as well as federal, state, and company policies regarding drug and alcohol use in the workplace. The course covers the regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) on substance use and abuse, as well as the procedures for conducting reasonable suspicion testing.
This training aims to help employees recognize substance use and abuse in the workplace, understand its consequences, and equip them with the tools they need to deal with workplace situations. This course is intended to meet the DOT’s training requirements for employers and employees, and it is critical for maintaining a drug-free and safe workplace.
WHY IS DOT REASONABLE SUSPICION

Substance abuse poses a direct threat to workplace safety, with the transportation industry being particularly vulnerable.
