Sarah Hope, the owner of Vertical Identity, started her career in data warehousing public records space in 1999, after exiting an internet startup that went public during the .com
internet boom. In 2015 Sarah launched Vertical Identity with the help of her husband Jason Hope, in the State of Arizona where they met at church in 2014. Since 2015 and our humble beginnings, we also opened and run drug testing clinics in the Arizona market. Owning and operating our own drug testing clinics, has allowed us to have a deep understanding of DOT regulations, and the day to day struggles of compliance.

In 2018, Vertical Identity launched our DOT Compliance division, servicing our independent trucking companies nationwide. With our national footprint, not only were we able to offer Nationwide Drug Testing to the trucking industry, but driving records, background checks and other mandated compliance services that are required in order to stay in business.

As of 2023, we serve over 3,000 trucking companies nationwide, and have over 5,000 drivers in our Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
